The Foundation S has announced the 2025 Climate Action & Health Resilience Grants Programme to strengthen community health systems against the growing impacts of extreme heat and air pollution in low- and middle-income countries.
.
The programme aims to empower women and youth-led initiatives while addressing the health vulnerabilities of women, children, and other at-risk groups. It seeks to support innovative, evidence-based community solutions that enhance preparedness, awareness, and resilience through sustainable and locally driven action.
.
The 2025 call for proposals will fund projects that apply scientific research, digital tools, and innovative approaches — including artificial intelligence — to improve community-led responses to climate-related health threats. Eligible projects must focus on the health impacts of extreme heat and air pollution and demonstrate how they foster women’s leadership and inclusion. Priority will be given to proposals that are community-led, scalable, and capable of generating measurable outcomes such as improved health indicators, data collection, and strengthened local resilience.
.
