Funding Information
  • Groups may qualify for a maximum of K40,000.00 as a one-off grant.
Eligibility:
  • Secondary Boarding School Bursaries
    • A learner must meet the following criteria:
      • Must be enrolled at a particular boarding school.
      • Must be a resident of the constituency in which the fund is sitting.
      • Must have qualified to Grade Eight (8) or already enrolled in Grade 9 to 12.
      • School dropout who failed to pay school fees.
      • Learners enrolled in boarding schools but accommodated in nearby villages due to failure to pay boarding fees.
      • Learner who has failed to pay boarding fees but is enrolled at a boarding school.
      • Double orphaned learners where the guardian has no reliable source of income.
      • Single orphaned learner where the surviving parent has no reliable source of income.
      • A learner with a disability whose vulnerability shall be determined.
      • Learners whose parents are disabled and have no reliable source of income.
      • Learners on the school re-entry project without family support.
      • Learners from a poor, vulnerable, and incapacitated household.
  • Skills Development Bursaries
    • Applicants must:
      • Be a Zambian citizen with a Green National Registration Card and resident in the constituency.
      • Be a resident of the constituency for more than 6 months.
      • Possess an admission letter from any of the TEVET institutions or ZNS.
      • Be aged between 16 and below 35 years.
      • Include entrepreneurs out of school who need up-skilling and re-skilling.
  • Empowerment Grants
    • Eligible applicants include:
      • Cooperatives, Clubs, Associations, and Organised Groups.
      • Must have a minimum of ten (10) members.
      • Proof of a bank account or mobile wallet registered for the group.
      • Proposals must provide employment opportunities.
      • The proposed project must be undertaken within the constituency.
      • Applicants must have resided in the constituency for over 6 months.
  • Empowerment Loans
    • Applicants must:
      • Be a legally registered business, organization, company, group, cooperative, enterprise, or club fully owned by Zambians.
      • Present a viable business/project proposal.
      • Provide proof of a bank account or mobile wallet.
      • Ensure proposals provide employment opportunities.
      • Ensure the proposed project is being undertaken within the constituency.
      • Have been residents in the constituency for over 6 months.
