The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation has launched its Fellowship Research Grant Program to support research about Louisiana’s diverse music, cultural, and artistic heritage.

The Fellowship Research Grant aims to promote the scholarly use of the Jazz and Heritage Archive’s collections, support new documentation projects that generate valuable primary resource materials for future research, and foster regional scholarship.

Recipients selected for the program will receive $5,000 from the Jazz & Heritage Archive. The grant is designed to recognize and support individuals engaged in meaningful academic, independent, or community-based research that contributes to the understanding and preservation of jazz and heritage.

Eligibility:
- Eligibility for the program includes academic, independent, or community scholars with a considerable record of achievement.
- Applicants from the United States or abroad are welcome to apply, ensuring a diverse and global pool of candidates.
- Only one submission per applicant is permitted, and incomplete or late applications will not be reviewed.
