The Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance has launched its 2026 Call for Ideas to select and accelerate eight innovative solutions that can drive private climate investments in emerging markets.

Selected ideas receive a comprehensive support package that includes expert guidance, technical assistance, funder mapping, networking opportunities, and pilot implementation support. These resources are designed to help innovative climate finance solutions reach practical implementation more effectively and efficiently.

After the acceleration cycle, a subset of vehicles may receive financial support through the Lab’s Pre-Seed Capital Facility, offering conditional grants of up to USD 250,000 to fast-track implementation. This financial assistance is aimed at accelerating high-potential climate finance innovations and scaling their impact.
