The Climate Resilience & Food Security in Africa Fellowship invites African entrepreneurs to accelerate solutions that strengthen climate adaptation, resilience and food security through high-impact ventures.

Solutions addressing climate adaptation and resilience and food security, including but not limited to: Climate-smart agriculture and food systems; Renewable and resilient energy systems and storage; Adaptive infrastructure and green building technologies; Climate intelligence and early-warning systems; WaterTech (water security, resilient water systems, and more); Blue economy and coastal resilience; And more.

Funding Information
- Participating ventures receive US $10,000 in Amazon Web Services (AWS) credits and a US $6,000 equity-free stipend.
- The programme is structured around a hybrid format beginning with a virtual kickoff followed by a one-week residency in Accra, Ghana, then five virtual days and concluding with a one-week residency in Nairobi, Kenya.
Eligibility:
- This fellowship supports for-profit startups in Africa with a working Minimum Viable Product and realistic potential to scale, and requires full commitment to in-person residencies and virtual programming.
- Applicants at least 21 years old by programme start,
- Lead the venture as CEO or primary decision-maker, and demonstrate early user feedback or commercial validation.
