Strengthening the Integration of Services adapted to the needs of Adolescents and Young People – DR Congo

The Enabel is inviting applications to strengthen the integration of SSR services adapted to the needs of adolescents and young people in the Limete Health Zone.

.

An innovative approach to improving the health of adolescents and young people was initiated by the World Health Organization (WHO) in six provinces of the DRC, including Kinshasa. Through this approach, the results show that service providers work together to identify common problems, discuss these identified problems and come up with appropriate solutions.

.

Providers thus strengthen their knowledge, while developing positive attitudes that influence the provision and use of health services by adolescents and young people.

.

Objectives
  • Strengthen the autonomy of adolescents and young people on issues of sexual and reproductive health, family planning, prevention of STIs/HIV and the fight against gender-based violence;
  • Increase the accessibility of adolescents and young people to health services with a view to care while respecting confidentiality and anonymity.
