The Centre on African Philanthropy and Social Investment invites applications from dynamic teams and organisations owned and managed by young people between the ages of 18 and 35 to design and produce creative outputs that disseminate findings from a study covering 17 African countries.

A unique opportunity is now open for young creatives across Africa through a competition launched by the Centre on African Philanthropy and Social Investment.

Benefits
- US$32 000 awarded to four winning proposals, representing Southern Africa, East Africa, North Africa, and West Africa bringing the total prize pool to US$128,000.
- The award will be paid in two stages:
- – $5,000 upon awarding the prize
- – $27,000 disbursed in subsequent tranches, linked to different stages of the project’s development and delivery
- Beyond the financial prize, winners will benefit from mentorship provided by experts, along with increased exposure through CAPSI’s platforms and partner networks.
- Selected teams will also have the chance to present their work at high-level policy and donor forums across Africa, further expanding the reach and impact of their projects.
Eligibility:
- The initiative invites youth-led teams from Southern, East, West, and North Africa to submit proposals that creatively communicate key research findings on youth employment in the nonprofit sector
- Eligibility is limited to teams or organisations that are owned and managed by young people aged 18 to 35.
- Applicants must submit valid identification for verification, and any misrepresentation of personal information, especially age, will lead to immediate disqualification.
- Preference will be given to participants from the 17 African countries that were part of the original research project.
